I am Linda Norkool, and I established Lindemere cattery in 2003. I exclusively register and show my cats in The Cat Fanciers' Association (CFA). I am located in Washington State. Lindemere is a PKD negative (DNA tested) and FELV/FIV negative cattery.
I grew up on a dairy and poultry farm in a rural area southeast of Seattle, Washington, so animals have always been a part of my life. My father had a herd of registered Ayrshire cattle, which we showed at the county and state fairs.

So how did I go from cows to cats?
In the early 1980's, my sister, Diane Norkool, began showing and breeding Himalayans and Persians, and she established Sherpaw cattery. She knew I loved cats, so she started inviting me to come to shows with her to help her. We had so much fun! Diane gave me a blue cream point Himalayan female that I named Sheba. Sheba produced my first show cat, Sherpaw's My Little Mitzi, a seal point himalayan. I showed Mitzi during the 1988-1989 season.

Unfortunately, my sister died unexpectedly in 1996. It wasn't until 2003, when Mitzi came to the end of her life at the age of almost 15, that I decided to establish my own cattery. So a new adventure began, and I started showing and breeding Exotic Shorthairs/Persians. Although I started out showing a Himalayan, Lindemere cattery does not have any cats that are colorpoint carriers (CPCs).
I would like to thank the following breeders for sharing their cats with me:
